Madison Cole’s family is the Storm Motorcycle Club. Her father is the President and her brother is the VP. She grew up surrounded by bikers, crime and violence. Two years ago she walked away from her family and the world they live in. Her soul was shattered, her heart was broken and she had an addiction she couldn't shake. Now he is being sent to bring her back and he is conflicted. He thought he was over her but discovers their connection is as strong as ever. Their love was all-consuming, passionate and fiery. It was also their undoing and he doesn't know if either of them is strong enough to battle the demons that ripped them apart, to find love again.

Madison and Jason are brought back together by a force out of their control; one that pushes them to a breaking point. Can they overcome their past and discover a love worth fighting for or will the harsh reality of their world finally and completely break them both?

~My 5 Star Review~

What's not to love about this book. Hot biker, alpha male, strong female character....I loved it all.

2 years ago, Madison walked away from the Storm motorcycle club to start her life over. At that point, she had was having a rough go of things. She had been through a traumatic experience that changed the way she viewed her dad and J. To help her cope, she started drinking, A LOT. All of this lead to a lot of arguing between her and J, to the point that he told her she  needed to leave.

She packed up and moved on with her life. She met some new friends, got herself a job, and quit drinking completely. She was finally happy.  That is, until Scott, her brother, started calling, insisting that she come home because of some trouble with the Motorcycle Club. She refused to go. Eventually, he sent her some protection... J... the man who broke her heart 2 years ago by forcing her to leave.

By starting the story where the author did, 2 years after the initial relationship ended, I felt like I missed seeing the connection between Madison and J. (There could easily be a pre-quel)Their initial relationship was obviously HOT and they both had strong feelings for each other. She was definitely NOT over that relationship, the hurt showed through as anger towards him. At their first meeting, the sparks were still there between them, but both fought it as best they could.

I grabbed my purse and headed outside to go and buy lunch.  J was on the phone, but saw me come outside and signaled for me to wait.
“I’m going to buy lunch, J.  And I only get an hour so I don’t have time to wait for you,” I said, tersely.  He kept talking and scowled at me.  I turned and started to walk away from him, towards the cafe where I always bought lunch.
I could hear him muttering something into the phone and then he must have ended his call because he went silent.  Then, he barked, “Madison!”
The last thing I wanted to do was stop for him, but there was something in his tone; a ‘don’t fuck with me’ command.  So I stopped, and turned around to look at him.  Oh,
my.  He was shitty.
He stalked to where I was and got in my face.  “Why the fuck do you have to be so difficult about this?” He was fuming.
Well, I could see him, and raise him in his anger.  “Maybe it has something to do with the way Scott has gone about this.  And the fact that he sent you!”
He flinched.  It was only for a second, and most people wouldn't have even noticed it.  But I knew J, and I saw it.  It surprised the fuck out of me.  “Well then, it looks like we’ve got some shit to sort out, babe, because I’m not going anywhere.”
“I don’t want to sort shit out with you.  That ship sailed two fucking years ago, J,” I spat.
He gripped my arm, pulling me closer, “No, it fucking didn't,” he growled, eyes blazing, “And you can’t deny there’s still something here.  I feel it and I know you feel it too.”
I laughed.  No, actually, I cackled.  “You wanna fuck, J?  I can feel that, and, yeah, if you wanna go there, I’m all for it.  But don’t mistake my desire for your cock for anything else.”

After several vacations to the sunshine state, my husband and I fell in love with the warm weather and decided to have a house built in Florida. I miss my family and friends up north;however, I will never regret not having to shovel snow again. I have been a registered nurse for about ten years. I currently work on a medical/surgical unit, preferring to work the night shift.

My husband and I have been married for sixteen years, and I appreciate his support during this endeavor. I have one son who is a hard working grown man now living on his own. He has blessed me with the most precious grandson and a wonderful future daughter in law. My daughter is a beautiful and smart teenager who excels at just about anything she tries. She enjoys playing soccer and we have spent numerous hours on various soccer fields. I am blessed to have my mother, a retired cook, living with me and she is a great help with cooking, cleaning, and chauffeuring the teenager. Other members of our family include; one dog, one cat, two turtles and several fish.

My love for reading began at the age of twelve on a stormy day. With nothing to do I was bugging my mother, she said, “Go read a book.” I have never stopped. As a teenager, I preferred horror books, mainly Stephen King. As I age, my reading tastes change and I currently read mysteries, romance, or erotica. It has always been my dream to write a book. Although writing is a hobby for me, I hope to produce a book to the best of my abilities and hope you have enjoyed what you read. Thank you for your support.

My Brother, My Rival Series by Eve Rabi Blog Tour

Banner My Brother My Rival for Tour 2

Book 1

My Brother, My Rival (Book 1) (Cover 10-1-13)Cody Garrett, a former Navy SEAL, has never met a skirt he didn’t fancy. His six-pack, rugged looks and bad boy image ensures a steady stream of hot babes waiting to slip him their phone numbers wherever he goes. So, he is confused when Bridie Barker refuses to go on a date with him.
It’s not like she’s a stunning beauty or something. According to him, her ears are big, she’s well-rounded and she’s not even a D-cup. In spite of her shortcomings, the more she pushes him away, the more he finds himself thinking of her. Twenty-year-old Bridie Barker has control issues. Every detail in her life is planned. Her closet is color-coded and she has an array of storage containers, to ensure that everything is in its correct place. Her whole world is black and white, and grey areas are a no-no.
When she meets the warm and grounded Scott Garrett, she thinks she has found her soul mate. Unfortunately, and to her disappointment, things don’t pan out with Scott. While waiting tables, she has a disastrous run-in with his brother, Wild Boy Cody Garrett, King of Body Shots, who parties every night with a different girl. Even though he’s good to look at and makes her laugh, she turns down his advances as he’s clearly the tag-and-release kind of guy. Besides, she is pretty sure he owns not a single storage container, and she’s certain that his closet is not color-coded.
Problem is, Cody Garrett finds her rejection an aphrodisiac and pursues her.

~My Review~

How good were these books??? Well, let me tell you.  I read BOTH of them in one day. I felt like my eyes were going to pop out, but I just couldn't stop reading. To say these books were addicting is an understatement. Even today, three days later, I am visualizing various parts and thinking that I really need to go back and read them again. It would definitely be worth it.

In book 1, we find out that Bridie has had a rough start to life. She's a currently trying to work herself into a better life, holding down a couple part time jobs. She meets Scott when she accidentally spills coffee on him. They end up talking for a couple hours. She's thought she met the man of her dreams. Unfortunately, the jerk doesn't call. Although let down, she moves on with her life.

Then Cody comes along. A sexy, former Navy SEAL with an ego and attitude to match.  He's definitely the love them and leave 'em kind of guy. Someone Bridie definitely needs to stay away from. As you can figure, Cody and Bridie end up getting together. There were so many times I wanted to smack Cody. Although he's in a relationship, he sometimes acts like he's single and that him interacting with women shouldn't bother Bridie. Life just doesn't work that way.

It doesn't help that Cody comes from money and Bridie from the wrong side of town. The only person that seems to be bothered by that fact is Cody's mother. She pulls quite a few little tricks to try to push Bridie away. Sometimes she's just downright mean and hurtful. Cody should have stood up for her, but he just seems to ignore his mother's antics, which ticked me off. I wanted to see her get what she deserved.

On the day Bridie needs Cody the most, he does the most hurtful thing to her so she runs and ends up in the arms of Scott.  Cody's reaction is immature and childish with lasting consequences for him.

At the end of this book, I was relieved to know that I had the second in the series on my Kindle already. I needed to start it right away.

“Now,” he said, when he surfaced for air, “what the fuck is your problem?”

Before I could answer, he kissed me again, then said, “Don’t answer that. I’m sick of you and your stuck up ways! You’re driving me nuts with your bitching.”

Another kiss, before he spoke again.

“Show me how to act grown up, Bridie. I need your help here. I’m the eldest child in my family and I have a crude sense of entitlement. It’s what gives me confidence to achieve in life, but at the same time, it’s my downfall. It makes me a spoiled son of a bitch, and fuck, I never realized it until now, and baby, I really needed my ass kicked by someone like you.” He kissed me again.
“This ass-kicking, it’s an experience like nothing I have ever felt before. I like it and I hate it. Now, just put your arms around my neck and kiss me like you did before.”

I summoned a glare but when I looked into his blue eyes, my insides turned to mush.

To my disgust, my levelheadedness, my determination to lose him and all Usher’s Burn motivating lyrics did a David Copperfield on me and vanished. Poof!

To my disgust, I put my arms around his neck and matched the intensity of his kisses.

As I kissed him, the bruising inside of me healed and the burning ceased. He was a dose of citrus-flavored antacid to my soul.

“Now, that’s better,” he said between kisses. “Don’t you feel better now that you surrendered to me? Huh? Don’t you? Huh?”

“Shaddup!” I whispered, as I held his face in my hands and kissed him.

“Okay, okay, I’ll shaddup.”

“I don’t wanna be forced into anything,” I said in a meaningful voice. “I’m not into body shots, I don’t do threesomes, I’m old-fashioned in a lot of ways and I tend to go …”

“What?” he frowned. “You mean you don’t want to fuck me in the back seat of my Hummer?”

"What about in an hour?"

Book 2

Years ago, Cody Garrett’s heart was ripped to shreds when Bridie ditched him and married his brother, Scott.

With great difficulty, he moved on and rebuilt his life without her, severing all ties with his brother because of their betrayal.

Now, Scott, his brother, is ill and a threat to his wife and children.

Cody is forced to step in and move them into his house.

Being physically so close to Bridie, and spending time alone with her, brings back a flood of memories, and he finds it a daily struggle to contain his feelings for his brother’s wife.

To Bridie, who likes to put things (and people) in perspective, Cody Garrett was filed under ‘Cheat’ and she too moved on with her life.
But while living with him, she stumbles upon secrets involving Cody and her, that changes everything.
Now, she must fight her feeling for Cody and remain true to her marriage.

~My Review~

First thing I will say is that I am so glad I already had this book on my Kindle when I finished the first one. Although it wasn't a huge cliffhanger, I really needed to know what happened between the three of them.

I couldn't believe this book jumped ahead 5 years. When I started, I wish it had began right where it left off. As I read though, I don't think I missed that much. The author picked the perfect starting point. After 5 years, the relationship between Bridie and Scott had time to develop into something more than it began and you get the feeling that all is well in paradise.

That is until Scott ends up taking a job that keeps him away for a long time (won't give you details here, but I can't imagine having to deal with what he did or being part of the family dealing with it either. My heart goes out to those that have been through these circumstances).  When Scott returns, he's NOT the same man. Bridie wants to be there for him, but can she put herself and her children through that? Through all of it, Cody is the one there to support her.

There is a lot more suspense in this one. A lot more action. Some violence. And a lot more tears, from me. In the end, Bridie gets to be with the one I felt she truly should be with, but the circumstances make me question whether or not they will have their HEA or will guilt drive them apart.

Either way, this is a series you do NOT want to miss.

With You by Nashoda Rose Cover Reveal

Book Title: With You (Tear Asunder, .5) Author: Nashoda Rose Genre: Contemporary Romance Release Date: December 27, 2013 Hosted by: Book Enthusiast Promotions

Sculpt is an illegal fighter.

He’s also the lead singer of a local rock band.

No one knows his real name.

And from the moment I met him, he made me forget mine.

In order to convince Sculpt to give me self-defence lessons, I had to follow his one rule—no complaining or he’d walk. I didn’t think it would be a problem. I’d been bucked off horses, kicked and stepped on. I could handle a few bruises. What I hadn’t anticipated was landing on my back with Sculpt on top of me and my entire body burning up for him.

I tried to ignore it.

Then I tried to stop it.

I failed of course. And having a hot, tattooed badass on top of me week after week, acting cool and completely immune to what he was doing to my body—it was frustrating as hell, so I broke his rule—I complained.

Then he kissed me.

Author’s Note: This novella is Sculpt and Emily’s beginning and how they met. It is an extra and not required to be read before “Torn from You”. Their story and what happens to them is the novel “Torn from You”.

Warning: Huge cliff-hanger. Like huge! But “With You” and “Torn from You” are released on the same day.

*Due to sexual content and strong language not recommended for readers under 18.

Meet the Author

author pic tourNashoda Rose lives in Toronto with her assortment of pets. She writes contemporary romance with a splash of darkness, or maybe it’s a tidal wave. Her novel “Torn from You” is the first in the Tear Asunder series. When she isn’t writing, she can be found sitting in a field reading with her dog at her side while her horses graze nearby. She loves interacting with her readers on Facebook and chatting about her addiction—books.

I wrapped my fingers around his bicep, well, wrapping was an exaggeration as they couldn’t even come close to circling anything on him except maybe his baby finger.

I tugged while squeezing. “Sculpt?”

He spun around looking on either side of him for the missing girl, then his eyes ran the length of me as if I was up for auction. He looped his arm around my waist, tugged me in tight. I heard the tinsel girl huff then her high heels clicked on the cement floor as she stormed away.

Sculpt leaned in so his lips were close to nibbling on my ear. My breath hitched, and a vibration went through my body. I wasn’t sure if it was from nerves or something else entirely, then I decided it was both. “Not my type,” he said in a deep throaty whisper.“Too young, and I don’t do . . .”

Short. Frumpy. Drab. The words never left my mouth, instead I did what I always did when guys used to make fun of me—I curled my toes.

“Brunettes,” he finished.

Oh. I pulled back, and he let me, but his arm remained around my waist, hand resting on my hip. Dry mouth was rearing its ugly head as I stared up at him, taking in the slight curve of his nose, his angled cheekbones ,and god, he had this dimple in his chin I wanted to run my finger across.

“Where’d the blonde go?”

To find more bleach for her hair.

“You scare her away?”

His breath tickled the sensitive place just below my ear, and my nerves shot off so violently that I knew I’d have fallen flat on my face if he’d let me go.

“Um well no, not exactly. I told her I was your sister and needed to talk to you.”

His brows rose, and he wasn’t smiling . . . Shit. “Sister? I don’t have a sister, at least not one I’m aware of. Unless you’re trying to tell me something?”

There was an edge to his voice, rough with a hint of darkness.

My mouth gaped. “No. God, no.It’s just . . . I wanted to talk to you alone.”

His gaze dripped down my body then back up again. I felt like a piece of steak, and he was appraising me to see if I was worth the price. “So, if not my sister then what do you want from me?”

The reason fled my mind, and I stood staring at him like that stupid piece of steak. “I . . . ah . . . well.” His tongue slid across his upper lip wetting the surface and making it glisten. Jesus, did he even know he was doing that?

“I’m not going to fuck you. I may fight illegally, but I don’t fuck illegally.”

My sudden mind boggle vanished, and ire replaced it. “I’m twenty for your information, and I wouldn’t even consider having sex—”

He frowned, and his lips pursed together. The look sent a flush into my cheeks, because honestly, the guy looked even hotter with a scowl. “Having sex? Can you even say the word fuck?”

“Yeah, fuck you.”
