Beckett Murda hates to dwell on the past. But his investigation into the ambush that killed half his Special Forces team and ended his Army career gives him little choice. Just when his team learns how powerful their enemies are, hard-ass Beckett encounters his biggest complication yet—a seductive, feisty Katherine Rixey.
A tough, stubborn prosecutor, Kat visits her brothers’ Hard Ink Tattoo shop following a bad break-up—and finds herself staring down the barrel of a stranger’s gun. Beckett is hard-bodied and sexy as hell, but he’s also the most infuriating man ever. Worse, Kat’s brothers are at war with the criminals her office is investigating. When Kat joins the fight, she lands straight in Beckett’s sights . . . and in his arms. Not to mention their enemies’ crosshairs.
Now Beckett and Kat must set aside their differences to work together, because the only thing sweeter than justice is finding love and never letting go.
I have followed this series from the beginning. Each book has gotten better than the one before. This book was just as action filled as the rest and brings an end to the injustice of some of my favorite military men. Part of me didn't want to read this book; I just didn't want their story to end.
This book picks up right where the last one leaves off, just like all the books in this series. You need to read the books in order to follow the story . Believe me, it will be well worth it. These books mix action with a little romance perfectly. I get so caught up in the story that time just passes and I didn't even notice it.
Beckett has been my favorite character all along and I was thrilled to see him find someone who cares from him like Kat does. Although he has a very gruff exterior, Beckett proves how sensitive and caring he is several times throughout the book.
There is a lot of action and suspense in the book. It is written in third person POV. Ther eis no cliffhanger ending, but I'm hoping there is a hint of more to come from Hard Security, Inc. If there is, I will certainly be reading every one of them.
Praise for HARD TO LET GO
