Hard to Hold on To by Laura Kaye Blog Tour with 5 star review and Giveaway

Edward "Easy" Cantrell knows better than most the pain of not being able to save those he loves—which is why he is not going to let Jenna Dean out of his sight.  He may have just met her, but Jenna's the first person to make him feel alive since that devastating day in the desert more than a year ago.

Jenna has never met anyone like Easy. She can't describe how he makes her feel--and not just because he saved her life. No, the stirrings inside her reach far beyond gratitude.

As the pair are thrust together while chaos reigns around them, they both know one thing: the things in life most worth having are the hardest to hold on to.

First thing to know is that if you haven't read the other two books in the series, you MUST read them first. I have read them before, but it wasn't enough. I tried to read this but found that I needed to refresh my memory. So I ended up reading both books again. Not I minded, I really enjoyed all three action packed books.

Easy has been one of my favorite characters from the beginning. There just seemed to be a soft-hearted man under the tough alpha male exterior. Jenna helped expose that softer, more caring side.  I just wanted to give that man a hug and tell him everything would be alright.

Having the whole crew together has been helping each of them deal with what happened to them in Afghanistan.  The year apart, each one dealing with all the turmoil alone, has been hard on them all. They all lost "brothers" and each have been trying to move on. They've all been holding on by a thread. Now that they are together, relationships are being repaired, and they are getting closer to finding out the truth. The truth they all deserve. This series has become more than just action packed romance books. It's a series about friendship and healing.

The first two books end in cliff hangers. Thankfully this one did not. However, it is definitely NOT the end of the story. There are so many unanswered questions that I will be reading the next one as soon as I can get my hands on it.  I just hope we will see the relationship between Jenna and Easy continue to grow and develop.
