I loved this heart warming love story. Although there wasn't a lot of intense emotions, I found it hard to put down. I felt like I knew Mia well enough to consider her a friend of mine and I wanted to see her get her HEA as soon as she could. I can't blame her for pushing Ben away for so long. I would have too. He was downright cruel to her when they were growing up.

But Ben's changed. He's not that arrogant teenager anymore. He's now a sweet, caring man who feels guilty for what he said to her. It's amazing what 9 years will do to a person. Even though I understood Mia protecting herself, I kept hoping that things would work out between them.

The was scene that had a lot of emotional potential, but the author didn't put too much time into the sad parts, choosing to instead to focus on how Mia was feeling towards Ben at that time. I was glad she chose to do that because it would have been hard to read through all my tears if she went the other route.

Once you read the book, you'll totally understand what I mean. If you enjoy a great love story with realistic characters, I highly recommend this book.
